RPA puppy “Charlie”Righteous Pups Australia (RPA) is a not-for-profit, national charitable organization providing Autism Assistance Dogs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, anywhere in Australia.Our special dogs are provided free of charge thanks to the generous support of our supporters and many volunteers.We receive no Government funding, neither State nor Federal.We are totally reliant upon the generosity of everyday Australians and corporate support.
We all know how adorable puppies are and how we love to cuddle them and smell their puppy breath. But our special pups at Righteous Pups Australia are purposely bred and trained to become the ‘protector’ and ‘best friend’ for a child with Autism.
With approximately 17 children per week diagnosed with ASD we have a huge job ahead to breed and train these pups to assist these very special little people and also take away some of the constant crises their family’s face 24/7.
To enable us to provide our service free of charge to these special children and their families we need your help.
How clever are our pups? – well, they write to you too!
Yes, that’s right. As a puppy sponsor, your pup will write to you from the day he starts training (8 weeks) every 3 months and tell you all the wonderful things he is learning – not to mention the mischievous bits too. You will also receive photographs of your pup as you follow her on her journey to assist a very special child.
It costs less than 70 cents a day to ensure a safer and secure life for these special children with ASD. What could be more rewarding? Especially when your sponsor pup will pass on the love and friendship given to you to a special child with Autism.
What a great birthday or anniversary present for a loved one – helping those not so fortunate to lead a better quality of life.
All contributions are fully tax deductible. What’s even better is you can see where your money is going from all the letters and photographs you receive over the next 2 year sponsorship and training.
It costs $29,000 to breed, raise and train one Autism Assistance Dog and yes, we match and place the fully trained dog with a child and their family for free, anywhere is Australia. With no Government funding, we rely on people just like you to ensure we are able to supply these specially trained dogs through this sponsorship programme and donations.
70 cents a day doesn’t seem like much but with your sponsorship we will be able to provide all our services free of charge.
