Hi, my name is Able. I am one of the most independent of the litter. I am a big Labrador and am a bit like my brother, Axle. I too seize life to the full and look for any new opportunity to explore and engage with my world. My foster family are fantastic, as I am energetic and not the easiest of my litter to raise. Again, I may be into everything, but I have a beautiful spirit and my trainers are exited about my involvement in the program.
Being bomb proof to intense circumstances will certainly assist me in fulfilling my role as an Autism Assistance Dog. I don’t live with any other dog so I make up for dog to dog time at puppy school. I get to mix with dogs older than myself, for I need firm boundaries that only older dogs can give. Though I am leaning to apply these codes of behaviour with my litter-mates. Look out for me in the future…I am destined to make a name for myself!
Hi, my name is Addy, and my trainers tell me I am very special. I am quick and thorough in learning my skills, but I have a deepened interest in interacting with my people. Not in the dependent sense, but through constant observation, I seek to learn even more than I already know about the world in which I live. I am placid yet determined, and in general, I am happy whatever the circumstance.
I apply a lot of initiative, but am respectful of boundaries given. I am not phased by change in circumstances and therefore, I’m very resilient. Addy – a different name, but one worth remembering.
