For the last 19 years we have worked with young people in secondary school who are deemed to be at significant educational risk, most barely attending school. Our Bridging the Gaps program allows welfare co-ordinations to enroll students one day a week in our program.

 

Young people love dogs and are able to bond and become engaged in working with dogs. Through the process, these young people are able to find a sense of worth, purpose and significance in community. There is a tremendous sense of personal pride when you are involved in something greater than yourself and we have seen young lives changed.
